The result is stock duration if each dog's current amount continues. For ordering, subtract delivery lead time from the earlier high-use run-out date.

Growth, activity, weight-management changes, switching food, treat share, scoop error, and spills alter the rate stock falls.

Order food for two dogs
Inputs: 10kg food, first dog 300g/day, second dog 200g/day
Outcome: At 500g total a day, that is about 20 days before accounting for waste.

Yes. Enter daily grams separately for each dog and the calculator uses their sum.
Will it recommend a portion from body weight alone?
No. Calorie density and each dog's needs differ, so it does not invent a serving. Enter an amount from the label or veterinarian.
Can I use this for wet dog food?
The duration formula works when stock and daily use share a mass unit, but opened-product storage limits must be checked separately.
